Jennifer earned her Master’s degree in Social Work at Kennesaw State University graduating cum laude. She is currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and member of the National Association of Social Workers. A New Jersey native, Jennifer relocated to Cobb County in 2005; a single parent raising two children with her oldest a college graduate, and her youngest a freshman in high school. She is active in the community and her church. Jennifer has extensive experience working with varied populations: working with a pregnancy resource center, inpatient adolescents and youth in the community, as well as substance abuse treatment settings.
Jennifer has a passion for and specializes in working with LGBTQ+ youth, addiction issues, trauma, & families in crisis; a wealth of experience working with clients with bipolar, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, anger, and relationship issues. Jennifer’s goal is to assist clients with learning new ways to cope and improve daily functioning.
Jennifer is certified in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy(TF-CBT), has extensive training in dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), & is facilitator certified for cognitive-behavioral intervention for substance abuse(CBI-SA). Jennifer is solution-focused & assists clients in exploring their past to align with their present and improve their future.
