Jennifer A. Riapos, LCSW
Jennifer A. Riapos is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and the founder of Bright Transformations Therapy Services. She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Kennesaw State University — graduating cum laude — and has built a career rooted in compassion, resilience, and real-world experience. Originally from New Jersey, Jennifer has called Cobb County, Georgia home since 2005, where she raised her two children and is now enjoying life as a semi-empty nester. When she’s not in the office, you’ll likely find her planning her next trip — ideally somewhere with a beach in Jamaica!
Jennifer has a deep passion for working with people who are navigating some of life’s most difficult moments. She specializes in supporting LGBTQ+ youth, individuals dealing with addiction, trauma survivors, and families in crisis. She also has extensive experience helping clients manage bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, anger, and relationship challenges. Her goal is simple but powerful: to walk alongside you as you discover new ways to cope, grow, and show up fully in your life.
Jennifer takes a solution-focused approach — one that honors your past while helping you build the future you deserve. She is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), has extensive training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and is facilitator-certified in Cognitive-Behavioral Intervention for Substance Abuse (CBI-SA). Her diverse clinical background spans a pregnancy resource center, inpatient adolescent programs, community youth services, and substance abuse treatment settings — all of which shape the thoughtful, well-rounded care she brings to every client.
