Bethany Bell is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a focus on working with adolescents with specialties in the area of substance use or abuse and anger management.
Bethany has extensive experience working with adolescents in both court-mandated and school settings for the past twelve years. In the past seven years, Bethany has focused on providing grant-funded psychoeducational support groups to adolescents struggling with substance abuse in Metro Atlanta. She has also facilitated drug/alcohol prevention presentations to graduate-level students and professionals in the community.
Prior to her grant-funded work, Bethany facilitated court-mandated anger management and domestic violence classes at a private practice in Marietta and worked as a counselor at a Youth Detention Center in South Georgia. She has a passion for working with “resistant” teens with a personal mantra of “the ones who are most resistant are the ones who have the greatest potential for change!”
Bethany is an active mom to two beautiful daughters and has a personal passion for health and fitness. She received her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from Georgia Southern University and earned her master’s in social work from Kennesaw State University in 2011.
